I have two d5s now. I thought about selling one, but got a wild idea to use them both in my loop.
How do you go about setting these up in your loop? One after another? Does that actually do anything? Or will the second pump just be spinning its wheel? Should they be spaced out in the loop? I have spare room next to the other pump.

Amazing what a little google searching will do. I found my answers.

Yeah, just run them one after the other. It will double the amount of pressure from a single pump, which usually nets something like 15-30% increased flow rates. The recent trend seems to indicate this type of setup is really beneficial for the more restrictive nozzle type blocks. Fuzion with nozzles, EK supreme, AC Double impact, etc...
I'm going to experiement a little with spacing them out, but unless there is some sort of harmonic wierd thing going on, I don't think it's beneficial to space them...more important to keep them close to a T-line or reservoir to keep posotive or at least zero pressure on the inlet side of the pumps.

You have a D-Tek Fuzion...so with 2 pumps, you can really experience the benefits of those nozzles. Seems they work better with lots of pressure, and 2 D5's gives you that.
