New PSU questions

Im looking at the OCZ GameXStream 850w or the PC power & cooling 750.

Im gonna be running a q6600@1.5v or so
8800gts oc'd
7 fans
3 hdd
mcr-655 water pump.

Well you don't NEED 750W, but if you want the better quality unit of the two, I would say the PCP&C.

my 600w xclio bit the dust last week. Tried 2 mobos, 4 different sticks of ram, 2 video cards, and 2 processors. couldnt get video to the monitor or even to post. power is the last thing to check. jonny thanks for the quick reply. any other suggestions for a psu.

at the prices of psu'd ive been looking at i decided to get the Ultra X3 1000. nothing wrong with having some expansion room.

i ordered from fry's for 200. im in the us air force so i get to us the postal system. stuff is alot more here. 800w ocz from 200 euro. thanks for all the good reviews on your site. made it alot easier trying to find something i wanted.

well i need to take everything out of the case and try again. hooked the new ultra up and got 1 long beep followed by 2 short beeps. it does it with both graphics cards i tried. this trouble shooting is driving me crazy.

Uh oh... Sounds like a mobo issue if it's giving you a no vid card beep with two different cards. :(

my 2 month old asus p5k-e and a brand new gigabyte are both giving me the beep. maybe the old power supply was nice to bring both boards with it

Well i tried my friends x1300. monitor came on and could get into bios. need to rma a 7900gs and a 8800gts.
