Anyone else having problems with Ubuntu 7.10 64 bit?

I had two rigs this evening start acting up, all WUs aborted by project over and over again. I put a windows drive on and run OCCT, Prime small ftts and found no problems. I put Folding on and both rigs have been going strong with dual smp clients on Ubuntu. I have another rig with Ubuntu 7.04 64 bit and it is not having any problems?

It looks from half a country away like my two machines running Ubuntu 7.10 64 bit are stable.

No problems with 7.10 64bit here. Did you try resetting the project?

I have posted them over at WCG forums, they had me update my client. I dont know why it does this but sometimes when I hit the update button it will abort all WUs by project, and keep aborting them as fast as it gets them until I have used all my daily limit, if I leave the update button alone it is ok. It only does it on my two rigs with Ubuntu 7.10 64, 7.04 does not do it neither does server 2008 or win xp 32...

I have updated to the latest version of boinc and its doing the same thing. If I hit the update button in the manager it will abort all the task by the project then get more and be ok unless I hit the update button then it does it again. I gave up on it and put started SMP Folding back up. There are no result logs in the errored results because the WUs never started. I have 64 pages of them. Here is a copy of what it is doing from the other day...

I did and the same thing, I even tried 5.10.43 I think it was, the newest one. I have done everything they ask at WCG Forum, ran ldd and posted it. No one has come up with a solution yet.

Are you running kboincview? Is it installed even if you don't use it? Just a thought, but maybe if the install borked somehow ...

Also, sorry but I've only got a few minutes so I can't really check the whole thread, but have you done a complete UNinstal, wiped the downloaded .deb files AND all the personal settings and then reinstalled from scratch?

No not running boinview, I started out with the one in the packet manager and it worked fine for weeks and weeks and one evening at the same time both rigs with 7.10 started aborting the task until it ran out of the days supply. I uninstalled it from the package manager and used sh file download and installed it in the home directory and run it from there. It worked ok part of the time but when I hit the update button it aborts all task and will keep doing it until the days supply is gone if I do not stop it.
