HDD Help Needed

Hey guys

Recently my quad rig has been having problems just randomly rebooting time to time

At times if i manually turn it off, it will not even turn back on
Once it does window checks the disk and starts deleting wcg/boinc related files on the HDD,

Has anyone experience this before?

Sounds like the OS may be corrupted. If a reformat doesn't solve the problem, then it's likely a hardware issue.

You could also try a repair install which won't delete your data.

If you have windows set to automatically restart on a BSOD, turn it off for a while to see if you can catch the error. If it really is a hard reset without a BSOD, that's usually memory or the processor.
