You make it sound like you have an imaginary one. Have you got your 2 hands up to your head while saying "Cheese, CLICK"?

:lol2: no, I have a cell phone camera but yeah we all know how crappy those are for any dark pics. My real camera is a Canon digital rebel XT DSLR.

Here, not my pic (duh) but someone else's that he took this evening. Better than I could have done with my camera, I don't have a long enough zoom lens for that.

Wow, what camera did he use?
That picture is definitely better than the one I took: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showpost.php?p=2786405&postcount=7

My father smoked for 40 years and he's just fine at 57(almost 58).
You'll do just fine.

Thanks for the heads up Hicks! We saw it fine out here in Oregon. Beautiful...It was visible even before the sun went totally down. A clear sky is very unusual for the Pac NW in winter.
The last good one I saw was the hale-bop comet with a full lunar eclipse on the opposite side of the sky. That was '96 or '97 I think....quite a night.
....Then of course, those heaven's gate knuckleheads decided the end of the world was upon them....
