From WCG regarding short FAAH WU's:

We accidentally sized some workunits for FightAIDS@Home to take about 1/5th the time they normal take. This has resulted in a very large increase in the results processed per day. We are taking steps to mitigate this problem now.

Regularly sized workunits for FightAIDS@Home will start going out in the next 24 - 36 hours.

One other note. DDDT will be going to single copy work units. In other words, no more quorums.:)

Im sorry, but im kinda confused. Can you explaine more on this, I thought all work was done thru quorums.

The Dengue project is supposed to last a year. In order to hit the target completion date, they will be doing away with the quorum in order to speed things up. In other words, they want to process as many work units as possible in a year's time.

If you use the UD client, there is no quorum. You are given credit as soon as you upload the completed WU. The disadvantage of using the UD client is that it does not take full advantage of your system's processing power. WCG will be doing away with that client later this year.
