[Help] P5W64 WS Pro BIOS for 45nm Supporting

Hello every one ..

I would to know ... Has it a BIOS for 45nm CPU on the mobo P5W64 WS Pro
975X chipset ?


I saw that many mobo of P965 can support 45nm CPU
and I have heared that someone have already booted a 45nm CPU on the P5W64 WS Pro ...

but the BIOS 0903 is in August 2007 .. So i don't know .....

If some one has a BIOS of beta .. for 45nm supporting . please give me ...

903 works with 45nm...it just gives the "new BIOS needed to unleash full potential" message on POST.

Hi, I am presently awaiting an E8500 to install on my P5W64 WS PRO and was wondering if you put in a 45nm chip in there and what type of clocks you are running? Thanks:rolleyes:

Adapa, I have a q9450 on the way, so we can compare results with this board/45nm.

just for reference I have a q9450 now in my p5w64, no problems with the latest 1101 bios other than lack of multiplier settings for ram, you have to under clock or over clock, by default it underclocks the ram. Also to note that Vista threw a hissy fit and wants me to reactivate it, I will probably do a reinstall just to be safe and not have to fight with Microsoft on the phone all day.

I will post some screenies once I fix vista.

ASUS P5W64 WS PRO released BIOS version 1201

1. Update new CPU uCode.
2. Adjust CPU VCore Voltage low limit to 850 mv.
