Vapochill?

I picked up a Vapo SE for pretty cheap from a friend of mine. What can I do to mod it to get better temps? Also can I run the evap up to the cpu instead of straight down. Its a stand alone unit and I want to mount it underneath. Is it possible?

you can mod it to R404A or change the oil to mineral oil and fill'er up with R22, you have to change the capilary tube also

you cant have the evap above the compressor unless you add a loop on the suction line so when shut off freon can go there

An oil change is not needed for R22. R22 will work just fine with POE or mineral oil.
