Brought home a Copeland 1HP 110V compressor from
the salvage yard (freebie) that had been used on a
lab/hospital unit of some sort. It's clean as a whistle
and looks to be well taken care of.
Can someone draw me a diagram on how to go about
wiring this thing? Or maybe give me a Linky that would
show the wiring schematic?
This compressor has the 2 round "plugs" on the top/side
of it that has the wiring terminals.
Heck.... if nothing else I'd like to use it for a vacuum pump.
Many Thankie's.

Sir... thank you for your consideration.
My apology for not giving more information. The model
etc. that is on the compressor label reads:
RRG4-0100-PAA-205. Gary traced this down for me as
far as the specs on the compressor go. It's a 1hp 110v
R22 unit.
This compressor has 1 red....1 yellow.... and 1 black wire
and someone had allready cut them short with a pair of side-
cutters in order to send this cooler to salvage. They remain
plugged into the compressor but just have been cut off.
Any additional information I can give just lmk please. Don't
have a way of pictures other than a cheapy web-cam but
they are .bmp image and would have to send those e-mail.
Many Thanks and Much Appreciation.
Pops.
Edit: Can understand the red and black wires possibly
being for the hot and nuetral on 110v. But what
would the yellow be for?
The compressor has 3 pins on the top/side of it. A
red wire on one pin and a yellow wire on another
pin. On the third pin is a jumper wire that goes to
a round bake-lite (black) piece that is next to it. A
black wire comes from this piece and it joins the red
and the yellow. So the red, yellow, and black were
the make-up of the wiring and someone cut them off
