display driver stopped responding and has recover message error please help

everytime I run 3dmark06 or play game It crash and I get this message

"display driver stopped responding and has recover"

any ideas how can I fix this , I'm using the latest nvidia driver 169.25 and I tried to uninstall driver and install again several time no go. I run on windows vista , 8800GTS 512mb

please help im having exactly the same problem...

i cannot play a game without it crashes within 2sec's of starting it...

nvlddmkm driver not responding error is what im getting...

its a vista problem.... this seems to happen with both ati and nvidia card drivers... no fix as yet.....

yesterday I formated and reinstalled windows, now it work fine , no more crashes

try jacking the fan speed on the card up mine dose that when it overheats
