It has two G92-based GPUs and an nForce 200 chip to allow SLI, while further shots suggest a resurrection of Quad SLI

Everything looks Kosher to us. There are three chips in total, the first being an nForce 200 chip to allow the two GPUs to communicate with each other, which is also used on Nvidia's new nForce 780i chipset. Meanwhile, there are also two new GPUs with the codename G92-450-A2, which appears to be a new codename. As a point of reference, the 512MB GeForce 8800 GTS has the codename G92-400-A2, which may mean that the new GPUs are a variant of the GTS, which would tally up with the other rumours we've seen so far.

I like dual GPU solutions like this, brings multicard power to single slot machines.

I'm typing this on a 7950GX2 that's been in service since launch week, no problems whatsoever with it.

Quad SLi should see much better performance/compatibility this time as Vista will remove XPs 3 frame render ahead limit, allowing for the possibility of 4 way AFR in any game. (this should make for a smoother launch for Quad Fire with 3870X2s as well)
