Must be a fairly new unit then? If you're picky about monitors then you should wait for some feedback. There's lots of junk out there.

Atm im using a viewsonic vx922 had it for 2 years and must admit has been serving me well.
I tryed 3 samsung lcd`s and returned all 3 of them for dead pixels , first one had a cluster of 4 near the center , the second one had 5 and third one 3.
I give up on samsung , my viewsonic has no dead pixel.
I lost around 100$ in returning those monitors cause under 8 dead pixel they will nto replace it and had to pay a 15% restocking fee on all 3 of them.
sorry but atm im not in good terms with samsung:)
I wish sony made some good LCD`s but looks liek they are not interested in that market atm , to bad cause i love sony and pioneer TV`s.
i wish pioneer would make lcd for computers i would buy it with my eyes closed, since pioneer is my favorite electronic company out there=)
The dell looks nice has 16.7 million colours , contrast ratio only 2000:1 compared to samsung 3000:1.
Only thing im concerend about the dell is that it comes with built in speakers and 2 mic`s and a video camera hmmm.
since this is going on my main gamign rig , i hate having things on it that i do not use ,that might even cause conflicts.
I would like to know if there is a way to disable the speakers and the camera on this monitor so i do not have to install any unwanted software on my pc.
And the big downside like all 22inc+ lcd`s is that it has a maximum refresh rate of 60Hz, and this sucks .
since i play games with vertycal sync enabled im stuck at 60Hz, o well.
anyways any input on this monitor would be greatly appreciated.

Dell Forum Community (http://www.dellcommunity.com/supportforums/board?board.id=dim_monitor) has actual Dell monitor-owners that may help you

What do you guys think of LG lcd`s?
Some are good and some are bad.

Here's the thing about LCD displays. All the various companies outsource their panels from panel manufacturers. This means that you'll have the same panel in many LCD's, regardless of brand, which perform very similar. What differs is the driving components in the monitors. These also have a substantial effect on performance but not as much as panel type. There isn't any rule as to which company has the better driving components because they differ from model to model. Anyone that tells you a certain company makes the best monitors has no idea what they're talking about. That's like saying one car manufacturer makes all the best cars in the world.

Your best bet is to do your own research. A good place to start is www.behardware.com. There is one other real good site that I'll dig up for you. You can select monitors from a list and do side by side comparisons.

EDIT: http://www.digitalversus.com/duels.php?ty=6 <- Great site.
