Ok, I finally have this chiller assembled. Built my reservoir for the fluid, I have my submersible pump and my hosing. Now I need waterblocks. I wanted to know which cpu, nb, and gpu blocks I shoudl buy. I dont want to build one right now because I want it asap. I was just wondering if you guys could give me an idea of which to buy and if I have to modify them, how would I do it? Insulation help would be greatly appreciated as well. Thank you guys, always the best of help.
One more thing, what should I use for the chilled fluid??

You mean like anti freeze? that will work.
As for the blocks, it doesnt really matter. Your looking at a 1-2c increse if your lucky. Just go to d-tek and pick some out, or where ever you end up getting them from.

I have heard that some waterblocks should me modified for usage with a chiller but maybe I was wrong, What blocks do you guys use and how do you insulate them?

I would stick with all metal...plastic or lucite type materials crack at low temps. You could use canned insulation foam to insulate it. Check Bowmans Mod Shop thread for some pics, he is insulating Phasechange evaporators, but same basic principle. Get some -60c winter anti-freeze to add to water....just enough to keep it from slushing.

I thought this had been answered? Are there still specific questions that you need help with? :D

Well, i wanna know what kinda pump i should get. Inline or submersible and im try to go as cheep as possible but i dont want a pice of crap.
Also, if you put dielectric grease in the CPU socket, how do you get it out? Do i need insulation on the back of the card/mobo? will the 1/2" tubing from home depot work?
Ive never watercooled let alone used a waterchiller so anything else i should know

i would use methanol instead of antifreeze if you dont mind the slight hazards lol. As for removing di electric greese i believe there is some kind of cleaner in a spray can. I would put neoprene on the back of the mobo just to be safe and yes the tubing from home depot will work fine but you will have to insulate it or youll have rivers of condensation

Where can i get neoprene? I got the tube insulation worked out though :D

The only place I've seen neoprene at is Dangerden, but neoprene Mousepads will work also.
As for cleaning the dielectric grease, look at bowman's article on phase-change.com about stopping condensation.

check out my artical it will anser many of your questions:D

I use brake cleaner to remove dielectric grease.
I use this one (http://www.crcindustries.com/gallery.asp?action=viewimage&categoryid=&text=05089ca&imageid=4912&box=&shownew=)

As far as the pump goes, I just got this Danner model#3. It can be used inline or submerged. I have it setup as inline. Cost is about $45 US. The tank is just tupperware. Flow is 350gph. Here's a pic:

Great artical Bowman.
The only thing im curious about now is the waterblock. Do i need to cover the waterblock in grease or foam? If you do have to, what can be done to the base without getting grease in the area where the core will be? Why wouldnt condensation form there?

Because the core is in contact with the block. You need to cover your wb with some type of closed cell foam or neopreme.
