Confused about Power Requirement for HD3870 X2 CF

According to specs, the minimum power is 550W and for CF the minimum is 750W.

So, in this case, does CF mean "CF using two 3870 X2 cards," or "CF enabled on a single 3870 X2 card"?

I plan to buy a single X2 card and hope to continue to use my Seasonic 650W PSU...

Well, I got the answer. For 2 X2's, 750W is needed. For one X2, no matter what you may do, 550W is enough.

your seasonic would be able to run 2 of those cards the minimum power is people with cheap psus rated at low temp and low sustained, u could probly run 2 of those
