This is poll/survey for upcoming product.
I am in process of designing new cases for single stage units. However, the dimensions are questionable. I could make typically what is utilized (old lian-li style) for size or go bit larger, etc. Maybe even making 2 different lines with optional accessories to better match the cases.
Considering how many designs are out there, however, there will have to be some limitaion to it quite obviously.
Now, put yourself into someone having about $1.5-3k budget for total system build. (excluding phase unit)
What would be case you would use? Please give me manufacturer name/model.
Few cases I am thinking at moment are Lian-Li, Coolermaster, Silverstone models (some of them... but I would like get more specifies)
Thanks for your help :)

Chieftec's Bigg CA01 (http://http://www.chieftec.com/ca-01sl-sl-b.html)
I was planning to build SS in side of that case but no money or fountation
But perhaps later :D

Lian Li 343B would be good as you can stick the phase unit in the unused side.

I SECOND THAT!!!!!!

ermm hmmph
anyways, I think the CM st-01, I think it is called, is perfect for it because it has enough space in the front bay area to place a compressor. (I have two at home waiting for a build! lol )

Also, I believe your lian li's are pretty damn on point for that kind of build. You might also want to look in the Silverstone temjin or TJ-07 or TJ-09. They are similar to the lian lis v2000 that you are used to. Plus I think they look better.

The old cheiftec super tower has a ton of room that the mobo could be relocated upwards and an even larger compressor than the nf11 could fit down there. Could place it up top, but the balance would be alllll off.

Eeek I think there is bit of misunderstanding... :) Basically this is stand alone phase change unit that will be under case...
Hence my question more specific to case itself to match :)

Use a large case and it can act as a table...:D . I would think 10" x 24" would be great.

V2000 would be my choice.

Jin, find a way to put an SS into a Silverstone TJ07, and consider me sold. ;)

p.s. remember when we talked about that?

I would LOVE to see one that matches a Cooler Master Stacker 832 front :)

blah only reason why the EATX case has the most votes is because everyone wants to see you put that thing in a 343B or a U2-UFO. :P

I personally want to see how you would pull it off in a TJ-09 or a TJ-07. :P

Uhmmm
I've already done both once at least... 343B and U2 UFO...
TJ-07 just isn't practical unless... I put something like horizontal rotary compressor down there and relocate PSU... somewhere else.
As for "in case" design, I am more prone for creating totally new designed case for that.
In the mean time, first I am trying to decide on size of retail SS unit which will work well with lot of cases people would likely to use for such build :)

I would like to see a case that would fit under a A05B and match the case's exterior... that would have me sold :)

Lian Li V1000, PC-201 and V2100's are all nice cases that will fit a phase change unit in the bottom compartment and will still have enough room to fit a dual 120mm rad in the roof for cooling the GPUs :D
