I own one of these mobos with a 8800GTX OC2 and Enermax 1000Watt PSU,
problem im having that my memory card reader only works on several reboots. Wierd thing is that in bios bootup the memory card reader is detected only when i start to boot into win xp pro it sometimes get detected or it doesnt.

The memory card reader is connected internally via USB header port, somone suggested i should plug a std 4pin hdd connector to the EZ Plug on the mobo, should i do this, i thought it was for SLI when graphics card dont have there own power connections.

I have various stuff connected to my external USB ports which all work fine, how do i get my memory card reader to work every time.

Could my external Esata connected 2 hdd have something to do with my memory card reader, or maybe my bios settings, or even the EZ plug not connected.

Please, please, please someone help us out.

is it an all-in-one card reader?

if so i beleive that the card reader is ultimently a USB hub. because its USB you can unplug it while its hot. try unpluging it then start windows and plug it back into the motherboard to see if windows picks it up. then let us know what happens
