Currently Tossing up between either of these 2. Both are DDR3.
I can get the sapphire now, or wait for the asus. Sapphire is also cheaper.

that Asus with the custom cooling solution looks pretty tasty. waiting is hard, but we may even find some GDDR4 models coming out in the not-too-distant future (i haven't heard anything about them - i'm just guessing).

Exactly:up: As soon as the DDR4 models show up, and hoping they use the PCX 2.0 chip for PCIE 2.0 bandwidth, i'll scavenge up some "GREEN BACKS" for 2 of them. I really like my 2 3870's I have now, so I can wait for quite a while;) Hell, even if i bought 2 of the current 3870x2's I couldnt even crossfire them, as there is currently no driver that will support 4 GPU's

i haven't even heard any news that there will be GDDR4 models coming out. i'm just guessing that one of the partners will do it. sorry if i started a rumor. who knows if or when though.
