very impressive.,

Nice CPU and nice Ram  Oh and nice Motherboard :) The vanilla PK5 always amazes me.

But i don't like the VR's being too far away from the soldering points. Keep them closer. There is a lot going on and they will pickup interference.

But hey doesn't look to have held you back

Vanilla is the choise on LN2 !
I have good experience with the VR's far away from soldering points.
On QX9650 this Setup performs good as well.

Very nice run. Great FSB on wolfdale :). Did you gain anything by disabling one core through windows?

Keep the good work up!

Impressive frequency, I'd expect 0.15-0.2s faster 1M though :\

That's right, but not with a Multi of 9 :D
An older Bios is faster but you can't use half multis.
And this is the main advantage of QX for SPI1M performance , you can see it here :

very impressive result

i think running with 2 cores enabled instead of 1 will lower your spi time.

Man, i donīt know where to start... great CPU and FSB, SPI is not bad :D

Is 6GHz feasible? I know that it could be demanding too much of the old vanilla, but can she make it? ;)

Respect bro. I admire your effort. What do you suppose your max stable would be on good WCing, maintaining respectable temps?

For Spi1M you should use Bios 603 :) , your CPU will not be recognized but it's faster for spi1m.

For Spi32M you should try 803 :)

Sorry if I'm being offtopic, but could you list the mods you have on the p5k and, maybe, how they are done - a link if they are posted somewhere, please.

Thanks!
