I am currently running 2 GB and XP 32.
From what I understand, if I were to put in 4 GB, windows would only detect 3.2 GB due to a limitation in 32 bit software (that is rectified by the 64 bit version.)
However, my question is, does this mean that one ram stick doesn't function properly and therefore the benefits of dual channel are neutralised?
Thanks.
