Hello everyone,
I use a DFI Infinity 975X/G mobo and an Intel E6300 cpu. Now i have the chance to get a new E6750 and knowing that the motherboard has no official support for 333 Mhz processors so I want to know "whether there's going to be an issue with this setup. The E6750 runs at FSB 333, while the DFI Infinity 975X/G is rated for an FSB of 266. What happens when I plug this CPU into this motherboard? Will it just try to run at 333? Will I have to fiddle with the FSB and multiplier to get things running properly?"
What about a beta or non official bios version to support E6750, maybe someone thought about that in the mean time because I bet any DFI Infinity975X will do fsb 333Mhz without a glitch
