Today i spent some time with DeathScyth to "play" to one of our favorite game : SuperPI.

You have to know that DeathScyth's cascade seems to have a leak on first stage ... so temps were really bad for such cooling (around -30 on stage 1 and -65/70 on evap).

However this session was not bad at all :

* P5K Premium
* 2x1gb Crucial PC2-8500 (2.15V)
* QX9770 Vcore=1.784 réel
* XP SP2 "home tweaked "

Boot 410FSB, memset, priority & affinity and jump on SetFSB :D

Max screen with same voltage :

This QX definitively rocks ! ... now we have to order some ln² to keep pushing it :party2:

Fantastic m8 :up:
5700 on cascade with leakage, under 1.8V :shocked:
7.xx 1M is great achievement , also you PP - 45.3k is great for ddr2 and those frequencies - marvellous tweaks and strap :clap:
Waiting to see 32M @ 5550-5600 range and show us the low 8's

That's amazing bros! pp is just sick; and what about this QX9770? 5.7GHz @1.78v for only some kind of dry ice temps is sensational.

Hope it won't cold-bug too badly. But you can reasonabily expect 100 to 200MHz more at least I guess.

What's the FPO/BATCH of this one? :)

Looks really good, especially under those conditions...

Looks like a 6g gem...

Keep pushing it.

Man, please tell me you´re going to give LN2 a try on that chip. :D

SPI < 8 seconds, is something truly amazing considering the conditions you told us.

Keep it coming.

Very nice. How exactly do you have XP "tweaked?"

6GHz is so close.

Very nice. How exactly do you have XP "tweaked?"

6GHz is so close.

Few processes, registry tweaks, no drivers and so on ... like everyone but my own combination ;)
Currently, it's an SP2 one ... will try SP3 soon to see if it can be faster.

6Ghz will be a dream ... we will see with ln² :D

Thanks Koda. I cant wait to get the CPU under some DICE treatment.

If we get it to 5300 Mhz or so (should be doable) then a 8.5sec should be within reach :)

Yeah; as my friend Koda already said; that's a great pp. :) Is the bios officially support 45nm? Guess not. Looks like something to do with cache management to me.
