So, what happend to the January launch of Intel's dual-core lineup? Was January 21st supposed to be the magic day? Sofar, only 1 retailer here in Sweden stocked some E8400, and that was Komplett. They ran out of stock in a few days, but other retailers never even had any in stock. I can't imagine Intel actually have issues producing chips, as they got a whole slew of fabs to produce from, so was it an intentional move just to just paper-launch cpu's, or what?

They're quite scarce in the channel. All our disti's in the UK are reporting low availability over the next week or two :(

Yes in Netherlands u can get them very easy since 23 jan..... also some E8500 if look good around. And Germany got them 2. U might have a look at HPM-Computer.de / Trend4pc.de, they ship also to sweden for not to much costs.

At least you get to see how the batches shake out.
