Hi, currently I'm using RivaTuner206 to overclock my GPU but it doesn’t seem to vary the clock speed depending on load as overdrive dose. So I would like to know if there is a way to allow overdrive to clock my GPU and RAM higher than it currently dose. I've got a 3850 on Vista 64 if that makes any diferance.

Welcome to XtremeSystems,:welcome: This site has modded bios files for 3850 and 3870. the 3850 one will allow ccc to clock as high as 900 but suffers from a bios lock limiting the cards actual speed maximum to 864. I have used it and it works perfectly.

there are lots of modded bios's in this site's bios mod section. there is a thread or two dedicated to them. look in extreme mods section. good luck and keep us posted.

So the bios in your link actually turn up the CCC limits? Are they for a specific 3850 or can I flash any card with them? I'm running a Sapphire 3850/512.

no you need to read the thread for 512 cards also in the bios section. i think there are a few that unlock as well.

ATi Tray Tools allows access to Overdrive with extended limits.
