I just sold my EVGA 680i

Now which board would be a good replacement? I've also been trying to sell my 8800Ultra.

I've been thinking about a X38 and Crossfire alot lately...But I dont know if its worth going with or not...I've heard some bad things about ATI drivers on the video cards.

If I go with a X38 board, which is the best to get? I have been eyeballing the Maximus and the P5E. But I have also seen the Abit and DFI?

nvidia cards can be used on an crossfire board but they wont be able to use sli over multiple slots (cards liek the gx2 still do sli) untill NV gives up on their chipsets, as the NV chipsets require a bios thats unlocked to allow xfire on multiple slots (cards like the 1900dual 2600dual and 3870 x2 work)

but 1 card or 2 or more independent cards will work
