Problem with 5.1 - Creative Xtreme Gamer (No bass)

Apparently Creatives Soundblaster series have problem with channeling the bass properly to all the speakers. So they got the "Bass Redirection" thingy. With that I can get bass to my fronts and rear speakers. BUT not the center one. Ive tried everything and the bloody subwoofer just wont agree with the center one :s. Now this is really annoying - often forces me to run 4 Speakers instead of 6 (5.1).

Does anyone have a solution to this?

Tried on Creative Soundblaster 4
- Xfx 680i's built in soundcard.
- Creative Soundblaster Xtreme Gamer.
- Tried my Medusa 5.1 Headset and my Microlab 5.1 surround system.

And since I just got this soundcard I really dont wanna change it.

I had a similar problem until I found I had my center/sub wires switched.

Also this may be my opinion, but tuning the EQ is much better than using the Crystallizer, I leave that crap off.

Since im using a headset i doubt that they have got that wrong >_<
