View Full Version : Recommend CPU Fan Controller & Floppy Drive/Card Reader Combo

Hi All,
I am just finishing up building my PC. I am looking to invest in a fan controller to control at least 3 fans in my CM690 case. I will have 1 fan at the bottom of the case, 1 fan at the front blowing air at the hard drive cage, and 1 fan inside the 5.25" bay for the memory. I may have a couple of more fans at the top of the case for more air but these are still pending. Also I'm looking to get a floppy/card reader internal combo. I've seen some on the Egg, but reviews vary. Can anyone give me some recommendations? Thanks

Now if someone can recommend a combo Floppy/Card Reader drive I'll be set. Also let me know what you think of the fan controller.

I used a Mitsumi floppy/cardreader combo for over four years now with no problem at all. I would recommend it. Please note that the floppy connection in this unit is actually through a floppy cable. Another point is that the Mitsumi shows up as two removable drives, you don't get any software that shows each slot as a discreet reader.

Thanks for the recommendation. Yeah I've been a lurker for about a couple of months reading about mobos and gpus for my build. I'll look into that Mitsumi. I believe I saw that at the Egg. I'll wait to get that when the Accelero S1 goes back in stock.
