Metalcast--Adhesion Promoter, Ground Coat, etc....?

Hi Everybody,

A little confused here---as usual......:p:

Wanting to spray some metalcast on bare aluminum, brushed aluminum and factory finished aluminum (PSU).

1)The bare aluminum I need the Adhesion Promoter--but do I then add a ground coat before the color coat?

2)Brushed aluminum--same question....?

3)The factory finish on the psu is just the thin coating of whatever antec puts on their psu's......The ground coat is for finished surfaces, but does that exclude the adhesion promoter step....?

Seems that spray paint manufacturers are not real big on giving specific directions/instructions........

Thank you for your inquiry. I would use the Adhesion Promoter for each of these applications. However, the ground coat is only for use when applying the Metalcast to non shiny surfaces to help bring out the metallic appearance.
