I'm not a wizard optimizing 32M, so not a great time for the frequency, but considering ddr2 here and water cooled CPU looks nice . ..

As i'm writing this, the processor is Priming@4410 mhz

Can you do me a major favor?
Try MAX fsb with watercooling...

I'd really like to know how high its possible to go... :) (personally vcore is something that isnt dangerous, so mine will probaly get 1,8v for daily if I gain mhz...)

Ye sure i'm just testing for fun , not daily use, but my MB x38 is the limiting factor for the max FSB :
~ 573 fsb with e8200 here

Great :)
Can you try that on your E8400 some time?
Ofcause with lower multi, just to give one an idea if E8400 will do around 5000-5250mhz on SS ;)

Have no idea, i'm going to wedding party right now, may be tomorrow i'll do some testing with 3d numbers... ;)
For now - no optimized runs on 2001 and 2006 with my 24/7 GTX@700/2160 gave me 83k 01 and 15.7 06 with 4400mhz ~4150 CPU score..no pci-e upping, nothing at all...

I've just felt a need for fast Dual-Core CPU, heh...

No need to worry about temps shown in current software... W8 for next versions and/or newer bios - everything will be "normal" :yepp:

I just got my Q745A576 up and running and its looking pretty good so far. Rebooted and made a few changes to 4250 at 1.375v then ran a 32m Pi with no problem at all, this chip is an awesome deal for the money.:D

At 1.625v this Wolfdale will hold 4850 pretty well though I have not primed it longterm, I will run that later today and post max. 5G certainly looks possible. Looks like a busy day for me.:D

Plz can you check max FSB and max Vali?
Do you think 5GHz Vali with 1,53V will be possible?

Kind regards

I have a offer for an 8400 with a vali @ 1,53V 5002MHz.... maybe your chip have the same potential.
Do you have the chance to test it under DICE?

Sure thing, give me some time but I will find out absolute max and bench stable, yes this is on its own water loop with a Fuzion block and PA 120.3 rad so temps are excellent. Just ran 3DM01 SE at 4850 and pulled a 87,907. This chip scales awesome though 5G at 1.53v is not gonna happen as I need at least 1.6+ for that I think. I currently have no Dice slug with me here as its at the shop but that will change. I will find out and get back to ya on that.:D
