Yesterday I flashed my bios to a higher version, it didnt work well with my setup, couldnt flash to an old in windows.
I decided to open EZ-Flash to see what it was and lo and behold it had a bios listed could flash to if I wanted to as well as some other driver directories, linux stuff, manual, etc... Where is this stuff and how do I get to it? Is there some sort of onboard flash drive hiding from me? Would be awesome to keep the latest version of my drivers in some onboard flash memory as well as a library of bios. If the board has this awesome feature why isnt it advertised? Or am I lost here?

*Edit* never mind im an idiot. I had the Driver CD for the motherboard in the CD drive. Just not used to seeing the CD drive labeled as C. It must have been reading that. They must have been kind and put a copy of the bios in the root directory of the CD. WTB delete thread button.

Your no dummy and not a Id E It ,Sh*t happens...If you Notice the CD has The Default bios so you can boot off the CD for emergency bios install...If you ever need to backflash or DownGrade use the comands below. If you have ever installed a New Buggy bios and then need to stich back to the old one.,,Usually it says you cant DownGrade on EZflash or Ezupdate:up: The methos below will allow you to downgrade with out the hassels:up:

Best way to flash back on ASUS with out using EasyFlash or Ezupdate which i dont recomend.....Use the AWDFLASH 132 flash tool and the Old bios...

Copy the AWDFLASHTOOL an BIOS to a USB or Floppy or CD...Start Pc with a boot disk and at the control promt type the flash comands..

Remember to Use what ever Drive letter your Floppy or CD or USB is labeled ,

If its Floppy = A:\ Cd usually D:\ or E:\just type the line below after the Comand Prompt.

A:\AWDFLASH.EXE 1201.BIN /PY /SN /F

Where the 1201.BIN is ,Just substitute the BIOS you are going to flash to...

If it is say the 701.bin then type...

A:\AWDFLASH.EXE 701.BIN /PY /SN /F

This will force the Bios( Older Version )to DownGradeflash so you can now happily down grade....

Note: Make shure you leave a blank space between the comands..Or it wont work!

..I was stuck on the 1603 bios and couldnt flash back until another Extreme member posted the swithces to use after the Bios file name in the comand line,, /PY /SN /F:D

Even though you were confused this may help you in the future..:yepp:
