Sweet card for Music, sucks for Games.

Decent enough for music. Alright for gaming depending on what type of games you play. Limited Gaming API support, such as EAX/OpenAL....
M-Audio makes some of the best recording cards money can buy so they know a thing or two about good sound.:yepp: Good luck with your purchase.

There's a pretty in depth review here (http://www.digit-life.com/articles2/multimedia/m-audio-revolution51.html). I have the Revolution 7.1 in my 2nd machine (pretty much only use the sound for music) and I love it.

Great for music, better than onboard for games but not that much better. Interesting fact, my brother is the actual engineer that designed the revolution 7.1 and 5.1 (got mine and more for free :)).

You'll not fine anyone disagreeing about its music playback capability. I second the barely better than on board for Games comment.:up:
