Xonar D2X + PS3 optical out + Folding = garbled noise??

I have my HTCP running a PCI-E Xonar and have my PS3 connected via optical and everything works fine except when I load F@H it obviously cannot decode the signal as it is a very digital loud clicking and when I add music to the client it changes pitch and speed of the clicking.

What do I have to disable/enable to get rid of this? I dont want to have to disable sound everytime I load F@H.

I thought I would ask here as I am folding for team XS;)
