4 ghz daily is possible?

Sure, but i dont care i've got Quad @ 4ghz
Just testing for fun
and Priming 10-15 min @ 4280mhz same Voltage as above - no problem and very little delta between Idle / Load temps  Nice processor for the money
Maybe 4ghz with Box @ 1.3V are very easy with it

Great chip and nice job indeed. 4.5 and 570 fsb with a 1.5v(or what's your Vcore?) is something tasty.

Kasparz couldn't you tell what the shop is it and where is it located in Riga? what are the prices and do they have E8400 in stock?

OMG!

Should i get a q6600 or a retail 8200?

moonsond

okorn it depends on what the tasks you want your CPU to do. If you're only worried of games or general internet usage, C2D will do it well. Otherwise it would be useful to choose quad core. And be aware that in future dual cores will become more and more unsuitable for high performance computing, so if you want a cpu for a 1.5 year or more it would be better to get Q6600.

I just managed to do 10.6s in Superpi 1M with boxed copper cooling at 4.35Ghz and CSX Diablo memory. Default boxed cooling is from Conroe-L celerons.
Just get a E8200. Its fast, cool, and overcloks very good. Also price is way lower. Moonsond, processor will be sold starting at 20.jan due to official launch.
