Looking for help picking new case for new system. Looking for a case really good for air cooling and may move to water later on. Willing to go up to around 300.00 if I have to. If I go to water I will probably purchase a Petra kit.
System will consist of.
Abit IP35 Pro
QX6950
8gig of ram
EVGA 8800 GTS 512
Cases I had thought about are.
MM H2GO
Thermaltake Armor, The Aluminum one.
Silverstone TJ07
TJ09.
Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated. Thanks:shrug:

The MM H2GO looks sweet. If you had a little more in your budget you could do a UFO or Twice7 as well. I have a custom Mountain Mods on the way, and can't wait!

Do you mind talking about the specs of that MM case you are getting. I was considering getting a MM Duality with one EATX motherboard and still have two PA120.3 radiators.

I could probably handle 400.00. MM is telling me they are running about 4 weeks behind and I may need one sooner than that. I'm getting up there in age I'm 56 and I want to get a good case so I don't have to buy another one.I'm old as dirt but will never grow up !!!!!!:yepp:

Recently finished a MM build with water cooling ... I don't think you'll be sorry if you go with one of these cases. Good to work with ... lots of room, but not as easy to hide cables as some other systems.
Getting ready to start Build No. 2 ... going with the Silverstone TJ10 and air (nothing against water, just going to try something different this time).
And, by the way, you're NOT old!!! (I'm right there with ya!)

Do you mind talking about the specs of that MM case you are getting. I was considering getting a MM Duality with one EATX motherboard and still have two PA120.3 radiators.
I'm waiting for Ben to send me a JPEG of the custom front panel, but the concept will be 2 radiators mounted in the front in a reverse "L". There will be a PA120.3 mounted vertically, and a PA120.2 mounted horizontally along the bottom. Imagine the standard UFO front with the drive bays on the left side instead of the right, and the 3 fan holes moved from the left side to the right with 2 more holes along the bottom spaced for a PA120.2.
I tried adding a second loop in my Stacker, but wasn't pleased with the tight fit. I was going to add a PA120.2 in a addition to my Black Ice 240. I got it all crammed in their, but it just isn't easy to maintain. That's when I decided to go with the MM.
I'll create a build log as soon as Ben sends the initial JPEG over of the front!

One "budget" option case that is really versatile, and similar in layout to a MM case is the Yeong-Yang 0221. The bezel isn't exactly sexy, but the cube form factor leaves you with a lot of options for watercooling down the road. There is an optional windowed side panel available too - at least the manufacturer's site says it exists. I'm not sure if anyone sells ti in the US though. Lately, directron is the only place I've seen that carries the case.
Then again, there's nothing quite like a MM case!
