Think of the possibilities of having a game respond to your state of mind or how it could be used in play testing or screen testing or just for a laugh as a plug in for a status monitor app.
Of course there are plenty of therapeutic things it can be used for but where's the fun in that?
Is it just me or does the guy wearing it look *really* happy?

There's no "of" in Guru3D's URL.
Here's the link to the whole article: http://www.guru3d.com/newsitem.php?id=6319

Judging by the look on that guys face it looks like a really fun product. http://smiliesftw.com/x/hsugh.gif (http://smiliesftw.com)
So it reads electrical impulses, but then what?.

Does that mean I can minimize body movement? (i can be a couch potato)
:D
Very innovative. This stuff is straight from the fiction novels.

So it reads electrical impulses, but then what?.Imagine using it to monitor your level of paranoia in a game like FEAR and using this data to maximise the impact of a scare. Another use could be to have music which responds to your state of mind, like how the Need For Speed games respond to your driving but more immersive. Got to be careful of positive feedback though, don't want your customers to go spazzing out.
I'd like to see a device that could do it the opposite way around but it takes lots of current, big magnets and complex control electronics to do TNS and Neural Lace (TM) is not readily available outside of Iain M. Banks novels.

for ones not understanding this product. It uses facial movements mostly. Not actual nueral reading, sadly.
This thing starting out actually reading electrical impulses I believe, but it ended up recently using facial movements, and in the terms of it using facial movements. I see this product being more harm than good. Imagine playing a Multi player FPS and getting excited or frantic. Then you start running in circles cause your creating facial movements by accident, and its reading them.
