Im currently using a Coolermaster Praetorian 730 ATX case and the TRUE 120 shoots out from the side panel at about 20mm, was planning to have my side panel partially cut on the CPU down to the last PCI slot area of the side panel.

I would like to ask some ideas as how to cover the open area ?

cut a hole in the side of the case and mold something so that the true is out of the case with a half shear intention around it

if its sticking out by 20mm you won't be able to mount a fan normally, you'd need to creatively mod that a bit too.

I'm on favour of getting another case like CM690 unless you have a viable solution for mounting a fan too.

Mounting the fan isnt a problem. The HS is just sticking out of the sidepanel.
A new case isnt an option.

mine fits in my cm690 fine, but it doesn't allow me to run the second side fan mount.

personally, if it were me in your shoes... I think I'd take the lazy route and just run with the side off..

Currently its running w/o the side panel at all ;)
