Yeah I don't even know why these big Korea companies bother to bribe anymore. Its like Why? First off they cause an even bigger stir when it comes to light and secondly their standing on a giant foundation that could weather any storm... Unlike Daewoo 10 years ago.

I learned in the second grade that learning how to read is important. It's $215m and not just $215.

Last time some one made the samsung slush fund thread apperantley I offended some one by saying Samsung and South Korea in general are very corrupt.. I ended up with a warning....
I was right.. Samsung is corrupt so is South Korea.. I live here I know.. I even bribed cops to get out of paying tickets.

Everybody bribe everybody. Its the way of the world.
There where you think bribe doesn't exist, it's just well hidden so that the general population wouldn't feel bad about themselves.
If it really isn't there than the business isn't worth the resources.
When it comes to light it is the result of other bribing party not sucseeding in their bribery.
Poor losers you could say... :D

In Russia, an average road patroll cop's salary is ever so slightly higher then the cost of keeping an inmate in a Russian prison. Now how do u think half of them afford to be middle class and drive 525i's ?

+hugs and teddy bears.
With a average monthly salary that averages out to 250-350 dollars, I don't think so.
Russia just like Romania (and probably a lot of other Eastern European countries) suffers from some pretty severe corruption.
