Be-Quiet! Dark Power Pro 850W, anyone else have one?

Does anyone have one to comment? It's very loud, running full whack I'm guessing when under no load at all. (Shorting ATX to run two pumps, and 9 Yate Loons).

Want to know because I'll send it back if it's not supposed to be loud. Comparing it to a 700w Seasonic and 750w SilverStone power supply.

It's supposed to be quiet, thus the name.

Maybe it's freaking out because you've got a big load on the +12V and nothing else. NOT good for a PSU.

I was thinking it may be an issue with cross load, suppose I must try running it - can't imagine cross load would make the fan spin at maximum though...

Who knows how they programmed the IC in that thing or how the unit might be trying to compensate for the crossload. You can't/shouldn't judge the unit unless it's in it's natural environment.
