Not the most efficient run but brute mhz got me there:D .... This cpu has been though alot of beating the last few weeks so Im gonna let her rest for a while till I get some new hardware.....

Thanks guys....
Theres a few more mhz to be had in this cpu but Ill wait till my new board comes ( DFI X38) cos I cant trust this mobo.... I was setting vcore starting at 1.6v + 122%, I was at 125% already and vcore was still at 1.95v... 126% got me to 2v finally then when I rebooted I opened up SG and it shows my vcore was at 2.04v:mad: .....
congrats on the sub 8s Lui...not even going to comment on the 32M because i know you are well on your way to crushing it :D
Aint gonna happen cos I ended up returning the DDR3 stix I got cos I couldnt stomach buying that certain mobo brand new.... The way I change my mind I should have been a women, not to mention Ill be an easy lay..... " buy me DDR3, me love you long time" lol.....

Be careful with Vcore. DFI Vcore is NOT the same as other mobos Vcore because it uses digital-pwm.
DFI Vcore 2V=ASUS 2.05~2.08V
Many people kill their chip because they use 1.95V+.

Awesome results, Luihed, being a daredevil to push 2v through the chip :D

Thanks for the warning Andre, its always at the back of my mind but its so tempting when the cpu is scalling so well with vcore.... I think this cpu will do spi1M at 6ghz with 2.05v but Im not gonna find out anytime soon lol.....

Thanks guys... for how nice this cpu is for clocking high, its got one negative, low fsb :(.... cant get past 430fsb lol... hopefully its just a tweaking thing.... Got the sudden urge to play 3d, Im gonna hit the store and grab a 8800gts while its cheap.... Its been a while since I played 3dmark,( that 77k is my first score in a looong time) and honestly I dont even know what 3dmark06 looks like lol.....

Thanks guys....
This last few days has been hell for me but today Im a happy man once again....
I receive an DFI X38 board on Monday so I was eager to it out, but for some reason I cant get in Windows, both XP and Vista... After looking around, the HW monitor in the bios is showing my cpu temp at 127c:eek: put a probe beside the IHS and as I thought it was a misread and actual temp is normal... I disabled the shutoff feature and it let me into windows but a system process always loading all four cores, and since the process is "system" I couldnt shut it off no matter what... Tried it on 2 other boards with the same result and its pretty much confirmed the cpu is F*&%ked..... Also the cpu is lapped so no RMA .... Just for the record the DFI board has nothing to do with what happened...
Just now I finally found a way to shut it off. man what a scare and what a relief that I can bench with my cpu again.... Its still screwed up but aleast now I can bench with it, just need to do a couple things to run her right..... I think Ill smoke a fattie now:D

http://ocidb.com/albums/userpics/10062/normal_sg6.PNG
Nice going there. :)
Errors: It could be the BIOS support for the CPU (unsupported, that's what it looks like, wrongly mapped sensor readings) or if the chip on two different Penryn supporting boards (tested) is giving screwed up readings with the chip then it's the chips internal registers and feedback itself that's flocked.
The System Idle is supposed to be at 99% as often as possible idling but SYSTEM is not supposed to consume any CPU cycles at idle. There's your problem.
You haven't been net connected without a av/fw, have you?
If you you run me this application and give me the log back in a PM or attach it, I'll let you know if I see anything wrong in terms of virus/spyware/hacker: http://www.trendsecure.com/portal/en-US/tools/security_tools/hijackthis
IHS temp will be 10-20C lower than the Tcase temp these monitoring software report, your measurement will always be lower unless you drilled a hole into the IHS to place the temp probe. ;)

Im pretty sure its the cpu thats screwed.... didnt have this issue before and Ive tried it on 3 motherboards now and it does the same thing... The P35-T2R ran it fine but now it doesnt, tried it on a P5K at the store I bought it from and same thing, we put in a diff QX and it ran fine on the P5K.... Im pretty sure this happened in the P35-T2R cos the last time I ran the QX there ( saturday) , I just finished the 3dmark run above then I couldnt get into windows after a reboot...I quit benching after that and didnt even realize something was wrong till monday....

Hey Lui. I expect this type of benching from you. I always have.
Congrats, You never seice to amaze me over the years. Times like this I miss home and those radical bastards DMOS and Speed. Great job.
I have always been content to run very fast and stable. You on the other hand are one of the many reasons they make envelopes. guys like you were just born to push them! I would tell you tokeep pushing but that is like telling the sun to rise.... It ain't necessary, it's gonna happen!!

Hey bro, long time no see.... Thanks for the props, this would be alot sweeter if I can rub it all over SpeeD's face lol.... I pop in once in a while at the place we use to call home but its never the same and never will be... If there's one thing Id like to have back in OC land that would be it....
Nice to bump in to some old friends, I hunt down Cuf once in a while and Elisha is here sometimes, DMOS I havent seen since then...
