Hey,
So I just built a new rig and the sound card I use is the one that comes with my P5E (Supreme FXII) along with my ancient Senn. HD570's ($80 buy 2 years ago still love em )
So to my question, I use my rig mainly for gaming and some movies and I only plan on using headphones for sound.
Any recc. for a sound card (not looking to spend too much, $100 maybe?)...also should I change my headphones?

Grab a cheap X-Gamer. $80.
Don't change headphones if you are going cheap on the sound card. AFAIK, the X-Fi cards don't sound the greatest (DAC quality) compared to the C-Media-based cards, so changing headphones is probably not worth it. I haven't heard the 570's but I love my new HD 280 Pro cans. Another thing to keep in mind is the quality of the source material you will be listening to. A 44.1khz mp3 can only sound so good. Most (if not all) games I have played have 44.1khz as the max sound quality.

Then you cheating yourself with that sweet sounding card because the 280's aren't as good as the 570's. I've had both. I upgraded from the 280's to the DT-770 Pro 80. IMHO, the 280's sucked more than my older Philips HD 890's. For doubters, if you have a Guitar Center Music store near by, they'll let you compare DT-770's Pro 80's($199) to the Senheisser 280's ($99). As Rob likes to say, you get what you pay for. I got mine (770) NIB from an EBay store for about $153. I would easily buy them again if given a Do-Over. Yes there are better cans but not in that price range.
