I had some OCZ PC6400 and memtest was showing 27 errors with module, so RMA it. Got some OCZ Alpha PC8000 1000Mhz which are showing 3 errors on one module. GRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Ive spoken to memory specalist on the online place I got from and he said this was unusual and maybe was motherboard or PSU. True? any advice?

Im running memtest on 1 module at a time in socket closest to cpu to see if solves problem as speclist said that the mobo might have a voltage spike or psu.

I have a Asus P5KC mobo and a Corsair 520W PSU, nothing overclocked (YET, he he, as I want it running fine stock 1st). Any advice on this? Anyone run memtest on a Asus P5KC and been fine or not? Or am I just unlucky to get 2 fualty sets? Could it be just OCZ wont work on my system and try another brand?

Cheers

Sheldon
