First thing you will notice is the packaging is very different from the other fans. There is a box with all the info on the outside and the plastic protecting the fan on the inside. The NMB minebea is opposite with the box within the plastic shell.

The Noctua comes with a few extra accessories
L.N.A (low noise adapter)
U.L.N.A (ultra low noise adapter)
3 to 4 pin molex pass-thru adapter
4 chrome steel screws
4 rubber fan mounts

NMB Minebea comes with much less accessories
4 chrome steel screws
3 to 4 pin molex pass-thru adapter with seperate speed sensor wire

A.C.Ryan Blackfire4 comes with around the same accessories as the NMB Minebea
4 chrome steel screws
3 to 4 pin molex pass-thru adapter

NMB Minebea is rated with 0.22A 1600rpm & it doesn't come pre-sleeved.

Noctua is rated 0.09A 1300rpm. It comes pre-sleeved in the black insulation that feels like your grips for a handle.

your comparing a 1900 rpm fan vs a 1300 rpm fan, they aint even in the same category, of course the higher speed fan is gona yeild lower temps :p: What would you say overall about the P12's? I have yet to review them, i still need to get CFM and dba equipment to test them properly.

yeah i know that but that was just comparing my before and after changing the TRUE fan from the minebea 1900 to the noctua. I don't have any test equipment to test that. But even at dead silence its just 3 degrees different ! thats what i'm trying to show.. of course with your equipment you could do something better.

Thanks for the data. Very encouraging to see such a slight temp
difference with the quiet P12. I've been planning on picking up
a few for one of my rigs, and this helps push the decision :D

also, if you could. Would be an added benefit to test the results
of undervolting the Minebea to 1300rpm just to see how high
the temps go, as compared to running the Noctua @ full speed.
