Do these cards work in SLi at anything other than stock motherboard speeds???
If there is I surely can't get it to happen. 2 x 7900 GTX's or 2 x 8800 GTX's work fine at 500 FSB. Single card works fine and scores over 23,000 in 3D05.
Am I missing something here !

Yeah I was missing something. Northbridge has seen brighter days. Cannot change voltage. Only setting which works is auto and can't tighten memory timings any more.
Another one bites the dust. Can clock the FSB up to it's normal levels (497 x 8) but can no longer set memory to 4.4.4.4 as previous. Ram ( tried 3 separate lots of Reaper 9200) will only run at SPD timings which are 5.5.5.15.

Makes sense as the northbridge is what drives the memory.

Time to move on I think Markost... so if you remove the 8800GT's and put in something else everything works fine again or is the mobo fried ?
I've given up on the Striker ( as I didn't reach 3.6ghz on my quad...) maybe I'll try the 780i but I would like Asus to put a fuzion block on the NB to be watercooled like the Formula SE... I was really surprised when the WC loop brought back temps from mid 50's to 38°C under OCCT Load...

Don't have access to the other cards any longer as I have sold them on. Had a good run out of this board so I'll just hang on for a 780. problem is that I like SLi too much to go to other more stable boards. Who knows, nVidia might get it right eventually.
