For people that use a TRUE - if you run P95 small FTT, how warm does your heat-sink get? I'm asking because I honestly can't tell how good the contact is on mine. I see posts about people running 3.6GHz with the TRUE with a higher voltage than I do and manage to keep their temps below 60C. Right now in a cold room (63F) at 3.42GHz and 1.264V load, my P95 load is 62/62/60/60 - so I know everything is at least pretty even.
The backside of the heatsink feels warm. It's almost like a "toasty" warm. It's a very comfortable warm. So heat is definitely being transferred to the entire heatsink, but is it working as it should? I mean does anyone here run a TRUE that feels borderline hot when under load?

room temp 21C. Prime95 small FFT with a Q6600 running 3.4ghz 1.4v. Highest i have seen so far is 59C. The heatsink does feel warm to the touch but not uncomfortable.

sorry for the nube question, but what is a TRUE heatsink? googling for stuff like 'intel "true heatsink" q6600' didnt help me...

Room temp 20C. E6750 at stock speed undervolted to 1.18v doesn't break 30C under Prime 95 small FFT. The highest I've seen is 58C, same CPU at 1.575v and 3.8GHz under same test.

Room temp is around 24C.
Was peaking high 50s to low 60s with lapped CPU/HSF with a Cooljag 110 CFM fan (3600 MHz, 1.400 loaded).
Now same settings and it peaks around 68-69C with an Ultra Kaze 3000 RPM on a Rheobus turned down to 1700 RPMs... That's something like 76 or so CFM (using Fan laws.. and assuming the specs were right).

My room (70F), and q6600 @1.325v in bios, 3.3g. my temps are 59/59/56/56. This is with 2x120s in a push/pull and Tsunami case.

Did push pull help a lot? Right now I can either do 1x 1600RPM or 2x 1200RPM... (I run just the 1 fan right now)

This an example - I have not been able to reproduce something like this after 5 or so re-seats. My TRUE is lapped, the CPU isn't, but judging by my relatively even load temps I don't think I need one.

Not sure, I have not tried it any other way. I am getting a Stacker in a few days, I may experiment and see what the difference is.

My TRUE never got "hot" when it was under full load for even 3-4 hours when I had the 110 CFM fan on it and a 80 CFM fan behind it exhausting.
It does now.. heat builds up a bit.. But it still doesn't get "hot."
I don't know what to tell you about your temps.. lapping the CPU might help, even if the temps are pretty close.

under FAH smp load its at 54c on core1, core2,3,4 are 51c even across the chip.
Im using mx-2, I think im gonna go back to as5 it performed better
btw this is at 455x8 1.50v set, 1.44v actual

anyone willing to sell or if I buy one lap one of these for me, I have one right now that I will be putting into my media rig and wanted to get a lapped one of these.

Ambient Temp 20 Celsius.
CPU E6850 @ 3.6ghz with 1.35v, idles at 21-22 degrees, and loads at 39-40 Celsius.
