ok here we go
bios 131
phenom 9500
msi k9a2 plat
mems 1:2 and 5-5-5-18-24
1.7ghz phenom 11x multi 13x nb and you can calculate ht ref ^^
VS
2.2ghz 11x multi 9x ht & 9x nb

1.7ghz sp1m

2.2 ghz phenom sp1m

if this true... omg give more mhz for nb!

any ideas? real speed or false or just bugged badly?

nb multis are locked upward to 9x. You can set higher values but the system will still use 9x.
AOD calculates a ref HT like this.

[orig ref HT]*9/[nb multi from register]

So you CPU runs at 1,7*13/9 = 2,45MHz.

I ran into that a few days ago and KTE pointed me in the right direction.

If you can set a 13x ht multi in aod then 13x is the real nb multi but i guess it will allow 9x max in your case.

Like I've mentioned many times, there's no upward unlocked multis on CPU/NB with the 9500/9600. Only the BE so far. ;)

The difference the IMC speed makes in 1M (200MHz) is about 0.2/300s.
