I would like to build my home file server in a midi towerish sized case.

Could you guys recommend me a case that has 8-9 exposed 5.25 bays that could be used with hot-swap drawers.

All input and other suggestions welcomed at this point

8-9? What would put you in the Antec 900, Armor and 830/832 Stacker area.

I am sure there are a few Lian Li's that would fit the bill as well.

From the top of my head:

Silverstone KL-02
Lian-Li PC-A16 (I think?)
and Antec 900

If u live in Europe then, Sharkoon 9 value is the best mid tower case with exactly 9 5.25" front slots.

And it also has a very good airflow ;)

My opinion is to get hold of an Lian Li PC-A16 case. It is well constructed and designed.

Thanks for your replies so far. :)

All the choices you guys gave me fit the bill pretty good more or less.

-Lian Li is like 250$ and long order time here so :/ -it would have to have something really special.
-Antec: i don't like or need the construction on top of the case
-Sharkoon would be great if it weren't for that fugly big vent on the side.
-My first choice now is one of th KLO series from Silverstone KLO-2 I like more cause of the doors and it looks cooler IMO.

I found a Chiftec case: called MiniServer or something. I have to see in person how it's built.
Armor and Stacker could be a to much "in your" face cases for this build

Any other possible candidates, maybe even from less known vendors?
