Bump
por favor
second that!
to be more specific, i would be interested if i can pop the new e8xxx into my old abit boards:
ab9 quadgt
aw9d-max
if possible i would like skip the current motherboard generation (p35/x38/x48) and my p965 and 975x will receive one of the new Wolfdale's.
plan is to wait for the next generation of motherboards and processors coming after p35/x38/x48 and Wolfdale.

Yes, I hope someone can take the time for that.
Gigabyte 965P-DS4 rev.1
Add that one to the list.

Asus P5N-T apparently works with a QX9650 Yorkfield - although the pictures that I saw were of an ES chip. Asus websites lists this board as not supporting any quard-core 45nm chips.

QX9650, sorta works with the DFI 680iLT... just not well enough to make it worth it.. and most likely only with 2 cores enabled...
Apparently it works well with the Wolfdales though..

I have an e8400 in an ASUS p5n32-e sli plus which should eventually support the e8400, but as of right now I can't get the multiplier higher than 6.

QX9650 is fine in p5wdh deluxe. Bios doesn't report any L2 cache, though, but (most) programs detect it and all use it just fine (cpuz, etc); everest L2 benchmark detects it properly and speed (L1->L2->RAM) is accurate so there's no problem with that. Sandra also. 3dmark 2006 says L2 0 kb, though (same as BIOS), lol...but I think 3dmark gets its info from the BIOS or something...
Probably a bios reporting issue of some sort; no idea if its fixed on 2504 BIOS; I refuse to flash that version after reports some people have given about it :/
