Hey guys, i just bought a cheap X2 5000+ BE w/out fan n heatsink along with a cheapo mobo (ASUS M2A-VM 690G) and another bargain 2GB OCZ Gold XTC DDR800 5-5-5-15 just for tesing the G2 rev. CPU
The only problem I have now is that the mobo won't let me play with the memory divider, volt, erhm not even the timings! ... yes i know, its a cheapskate mobo. but hey not bad for the G2 i hit 3.2ghz 1.45v stable by only using old opteron's stock heatsink.
So guys back on the topic, are there any software overclocking tools that I can get to tweak the memory in this system configuration? im using vista ultimate 32-bit anyway.. thanks for the tips :D

i also would want a program like this. my bios and mobo doesn't allow changing the multiplier, volts of memory and CPU, or the memory speed. only thing i can change is the CPU core speed. i'm using an ECS mobo... yeah i know it's crappy :[

for mem timings you can use memset 3.4

try updating your bios that should do the trick...

hey guys, what's the recommended stable 24/7 voltage for a 5000+ BE to be in 3.3ghz? mine took 1.45v to reach 3.2ghz, strange, whilst everyone seems to be lower than 1.4v....
