I was just reading through this review (http://www.dvhardware.net/review113_2_cooler_master_cosmos.html) and it looks like the Coolermaster Cosmos is a really nice case and a geat enclosure for watercooling.
But I don't like the look of the two handles, is it possible to remove the handles and fill it up with a body filler to give it the sleek look again?
Any help would be great, I'm looking at cases to upgrade from my old Antec P180

the cosmos is a crappy case for water cooling. do not buy one unless you will be air cooling. i own one and it will be up for sale next week.

why is that? it looks kinda easy to me
I was planning on mounting a MCR220 in the roof of the case, looks like it'll fit ok

i dont think it will fit with fans above the mobo. also that video card air duct gets in the way of the bottom of the case :)

If i'm honest i've no clue why Coolemater made the top fan mountings the way they did - it would have been much easier if a 120.2 or 120.3 could of been attached without having to chop the whole top out but hey that's the way they did it.
Believe me i have hacked more of these Cosmos than i would of liked to but the bottom line they are not the easiest cases to watercool but with a bit of effort they are one of the best all said and done:up:

I skipped the cosmos and picked up a tagan black pearl.

Also a heads up that Coolermaster is coming out with a new revision which is aluminum.
Hello from France
This my first post. Please excuse my bad english..
For me Cosmos is a great case for WC with just a little job to do if you want to use 360 rad inside..With 240 rads..no work is necessary..
Here's mine.

shazza was looking to buy one for air cooling...I agree, it isn't much of a moddable case and is much easier to air cool.

As far as I can see, those handles are the Cosmos' entire raison d'etre and if you don't like them, it'd make more sense just to buy another case.

WOuld anybody be able to answer this:

@ perfection: Yes, you could leave out the handles, glue in some screen from the backside, then use body filler to delete the holes. I thought about doing that to mine...just isn't something I feel like messing with at this point. They don't bother me all that much.

I had an idea of chopping the plastic on top to make room for a rad, and then use body filler to rebuild the plastic top.
