First there were 2 P5K Premiums and now my Maximus Formula SE is going downhill. Woke up this morning to a no post and memory DET DRAM problems.

Needless to say its time for another board, but not Asus thats for sure. Right now im running a E6600 at 400X9, but a Quad will no doubt be coming later. I need something that not necessarily will do insane FSB, but something that will just run rock solid with a dual or a quad. Budget is a consideration, but not a must. If its worth it, im willing to pay a little extra. Right now im thinking:

1: Abit IP35 Pro

2: DFI LT P35

3: DFI UT P35

4: Another recommendation?

I'm hearing excellent things about the DFI UT P35. But you think it's a problem over on your end? I mean, I've never heard of so many boards die in the hands of one person...

well the first P5K Premium i had was great until i used the windows bios flash. The 2nd one they sent had the HD problems that everyone ran into. The 3rd i sold off. Now this one.

Good luck I hope this one sticks longer with you , otherwise you might have to look into ya other hardware to see if the culprit of a few of ya mobo's deaths isn't hidden there...
