The current Bios version that was only available to Asus testers, killed some boards, one of the reasons it is yet again delayed... we just need to hold on a bit longer ( surely as they will focus more on the new lineup )

Hello everyone today I tried a version of BIOS 1401 build 28/12/2007 available on the site ftp.asus.com.tw yorkfield but is not yet supported strange as ever in beta 28/11 and 18/12 worked with a multipler 9?

Maybe Nvidia pushed them to do so ? As their reference boards officially do not support the Yorkies. Though numerous rumours and even screenies ( although some only run 2 cores ) have been posted on EVGA forum with capability to OC the QX9650 retail
